A sign is anythingthat creates meaning.

“Knot” is a suite of furniture pieces whose relationship toeach other is derived from the morphology of sign. Startingwith a structural need, we created a common languagefor products with different functions. The joint connectingthe vertical and horizontal structures stands out as theidentifying detail for each piece in the series.
